Glass Baby Nail File for Newborns, No Blade (2-Pack)

A glass baby nail file for babies 0 to 6 months, made to smooth paper-thin newborn nails with fine, even abrasion instead of cutting them, so no blade comes near tiny fingertips.

The Olababy glass nail file smooths a nail edge with a filing surface permanently etched into tempered crystal glass, taking the nail down gradually rather than clipping it. It needs no blades and no batteries, and it is sized for a parent's precise grip.

Why parents choose it

• Etched, not coated, filing surface gives fine, even abrasion
• No blade and no batteries: a fully manual newborn nail tool
• Sized for a parent's precise grip on very small fingers
• Two files, so one can stay home and one can ride in the diaper bag

Material & care

Tempered crystal glass with a permanently etched filing surface. Rinse under warm water to clean. Designed in Portland, Oregon.

Does a glass nail file wear out?

No, the Olababy glass nail file does not wear out the way a coated file does. Its filing texture is etched permanently into tempered crystal glass rather than applied as a coating on top, so there is no grit layer to rub away, and the etched surface lasts for years. To clean it, rinse it under warm water.
