Lagniappe Flavors started with recovery, patience, and a few pepper plants.

Before this store became an idea, hot sauce was already personal to me. I have always loved bold flavor, serious heat, and the kind of sauce that can turn a simple meal into something memorable.

The real beginning of Lagniappe Flavors came during a season of recovery, when life slowed down and I had to find new ways to stay connected, focused, and moving forward.

How It Started

One of the first hobbies that helped me feel connected again was growing peppers. It gave me something to care for, something to watch, and something to build from the ground up.

Those pepper plants eventually turned into homemade hot sauce. I started learning how different peppers brought different kinds of heat, flavor, burn, and character. Some were sharp. Some were smoky. Some were fruity. Some were just plain wild.

This store is also part of a larger rebuilding process for me. After going through major life and health changes, I needed to create something I could build from home, one step at a time.
