Swing of Freedom Sticker | Original With Chrome Finish | Sietsma Publishing

Through the eyes of Josha Sietsma, CEO of Sietsma Publishing and a passionate educator, this sticker becomes more than a nostalgic image—it becomes a story. Inspired by a wartime photo taken by liberators of his hometown, this design captures a Canadian servicewoman mid-swing in a joyful game of softball after the town’s liberation. It's like the Canadian version of A League of Their Own—these women came to Europe to entertain the troops and lift spirits.

• Approximately 2.25" x 3.25"

Josha discovered the image while preparing a class and was struck by its spirit and historical weight. This sticker is his tribute—to softball, baseball, scorekeeping, and especially to the photographers who preserved moments of freedom, joy, and human connection in the midst of rebuilding.

A powerful keepsake for lovers of sports, history, and meaningful storytelling.
