Comfrey Cast

Why Comfrey Root

The root holds a significantly higher concentration of allantoin — Comfrey's key cell-regenerating compound — than the leaves. Our root is harvested on our Kauai farm, slow-dried in a solar dehydrator to lock in live enzymes, and ground fresh to preserve full potency.

How to Apply

Note: Comfrey powder will expand considerably when water is added

1. Measure enough powder to cover the affected area
2. Add water gradually and mix into a paste (thickness depends on injury size and type)
3. Apply immediately after mixing — it must be wet to adhere properly
4. Let air dry completely; it will set from a flexible fruit-leather texture to a firm cast depending on thickness
5. Leave on as long as possible for best results
6. To remove: let dry pieces crumble off, then loosen the rest with lukewarm water
